Julian Vincent, Phd is an english biologist and self-taught engineer whose work provides a unique interdisciplinary fusion of the Life Sciences and Engineering, leading into many other areas ranging from architecture to nanotechnology. Julian is a Former President of the International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE) and Honorary Professor of the Heriot-Watt University. He is currently developing an ontology of biomimicry for use in real-time problem solving with robotic agents. Julian’s projects can inspire healthcare innovation and one of them has already helped to improve precision neurosurgery.
