Official Guidelines
- Eligibility: Participation in the conference is required to submit work for publication in the proceedings (if you are in Portugal but you won’t be able to attend presencially please contact us).
- Format: Submissions must be in English and should be no longer than 8 pages, including figures, tables and references. Papers should be submitted in PDF format. The use of a template for the paper format is strosergiolaranjo@gmail.comngly recommended, which can be obtained from the conference website. Submissions must be made through scientific.innovation@tec2medsummit.org.
- Publication fee: The fee per submission is required to submit a paper for publication in the proceedings. This fee is €8,5 for students under a bachelor, €12,5 under a master program, €15 for students under a Phd program and €20 for non-students. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer and should be made using the adequate credentials given by team after the article submission through email. A waiver or discount may be available for students or researchers from low-income countries, if requested. There are no refunds for the submission fee, and the fee does not guarantee inclusion in the proceedings, which will be subject to a review process. The conference organizers will make every effort to be transparent about the use of the submission fee and to clearly communicate it to the participants.If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us through scientific.innovation@tec2medsummit.org.
- Content: Submissions should include an abstract, introduction, methods, results, and conclusion. Papers should be original and not previously published.
- Review process: All papers will be reviewed by at least two experts in the field. The review process will be double-blind, and feedback will be provided to the authors.
- Deadlines: The final deadline for submission will be communicated to the participants during the event. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Copyright: The authors retain the copyright of their work, but by submitting a paper, the authors agree to allow the conference organizers to include their paper in the conference proceedings and to make it available on the conference website.
- Ethics: Any studies involving human subjects must have been approved by an institutional review board (IRB) or ethical committee, and this approval must be stated in the manuscript.
- Code of conduct: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Plagium of fellow participant’s work, or of already existent work in the field, will not be allowed in the competition. Any participant found to be in violation of this code of conduct will be disqualified from the submission process.
